A big thank you to every one who came to the pull over the weekend , we hope you all had a good time . It proved the right decision to postpone it as the weather was much better .
Thanks to all the drivers and their crews ,some of whom travelled up to 9 1/2 hours as no tractors means no pulling to watch .
Thanks to all the grounds crew and those behind the scenes as well who all helped make the event run smoothly ( well fairly smooth ! )

At last the weather forecast looks ok so hopefully we can have a good weekend . The number of visits to this blog has gone up a lot lately so we should have lots of people at the pull . Two tractors are coming down from Scotland and lots from the south as well as several locals so we should have plenty to see . Remember its only £10 per adult / £15 for both days not a lot for a full days entertainment these days . There will be trade stands ,displays , food and drink etc on site .

We are back sooner than we thought a new date for the pull has been aranged on the 20/21st april . Surely the weather must be better by then !

After much thought we have decided to postpone the Dearnford lake pull 30/31st March :( We have had over a foot of snow since friday and the forecast for this week is no better, we will announnce new date asap . Once again the weather has beaten us !!!!!!!

we are now up to 2000 visits to this blog today , hope you are all coming to Dearnford over Easter .

For the upcoming MTPC pulls the farm tractor class will be split into two , small - up to approx 150hp and large -over 150hp .
Two new rules will apply this year due to the insurance requirements ,
No passengers in tractors while pulling ( driver only no matter how many seats are fitted )
No weights on the rear linkage (we are not allowed to be under weight block to hook up ) 
so please do not arrive with rear linkage weights as you will be asked to remove them before pulling and please make sure any front weights are safely secured .
we appreciate your help as insurance is important and we have to comply with the safety regulations.
